Audio Spectrum Analyzer firmwire v1.1
The movie shows v1.1 of the firmwire in action. Tomorow I’ll be ordering the pcbs and parts.. The final version will use bargraph LED’s for the display and it will be composed from 2 boards, the motherbord containing most of the parts and the LED board containing only the bargraphs.

Hi, there is more than ATmega64 behind this project. For the moment, the source files are not available to public. I’m going to make the project available for buying as a kit. I haven’t decided yet to share the schematics and source code, although it would be nice for people to build it and become a popular project.

I finished doing the math, and the board will be available soon for 100 USD, assembled and tested. The display will consist of a 20×20 LED matrix made out of bargraph displays, this way the LED’s will be all aligned nicely.
The board has a 2,5 mm DC connector, this type of connector being widely spread.
The audio input is done via 2 RCA connectors placed on the board.
