I saw a tutorial on how to make a segway somewhere. It could have been linked to on here.

$350 seems like a lot, but I guess it is about right if you are going for something that works well.

There’s another toy Segway called Arduway made with the Arduino and Legos for which the software is published on Sourceforge.
