I am very interested in this analyzer. It's freakin' sweet! I was wondering if I could get one (unassembled) without the display board, no logo, and resistored for the blue LEDs. I have designed my own PCB for SMD LEDs to fit into a DIN car radio slot, so the display board and 40 bar graph displays would be better saved for someone else (I would really have no use for them) and it could save me the initial cost of the kit.

I see you've already placed resistors on each LED so you just need a motherboard with 0 ohm resistors. I think I can do that for you.
I also see that you're using only 11 columns ? You don't have enough room to use the full 20 columns?

No resistors on that board. Any holes you see are vias or to connect wires to the motherboard. I was just going to use 20 ga. solid wire to connect the two boards and connect them one-by-one. I couldn't fit any kind of single connector on a board this small so I just decided to make it so I will take the hard-labored route and use single wires to connect each row, column, and push-button switch. It's nice to see a person offer a product and be accommodating of a person wanting to do something custom

there will be 40 wires for the rows+columns + 2 for the switches + 1 for ground.

I'm kind of disappointed. I will never get to use it now since I asked for it to be unassembled, yet it came assembled, and I didn't like the side of the board the 50-pin header was on. The PCB vias can't really take any desoldering so now the PCB is ruined.
