Li-Polymer batteries are more advanced than the old NiCd/ NiMH batteries, thus giving more juice and longer life period. If you are already using a Li-Po battery on your RC model or robot, you notice that the chargers for this type of batteries are quite expensive, so why not build one yourself, you will save some money and have a lot of fun.
