The battery equalizing is necessary for the not perfect matching between the elements that composes a battery pack. During the successive battery charging and discharging there is always a cell that has a capacity slightly different from the others and after multiple cycles is deeply discharged; this cell has a big probability to break.
In order to avoid this problem all the cells should be discharged individually with a particular circuit capable to individuate the end-of-discharge moment for each cell.

Its been some time since i seen a good looking and cool gadget so here is what i stumbled on, the Equalizer Watch. The guys at geekBlue reviewed this watch and here is what they’re saying:
This past week geekBlue received a watch from TokyoFlash.com. What arrived was the High Frequency by Equalizer. Now we see many watches from Asia and Japan but never had a chance to get our hands on one until now. The craftsmanship of the watch is top notch. I’ll go through all the details after the jump.
The model is the all Black Genuine Leather band with the Black outlined face. The band is durable and strong yet soft to touch. Wearing it on my wrist is very comfortable. This one, as you can see in the pictures below, has the blue lights for display color. There are other colors to choose from including silver for the band along with blue and green for the lights.
